Kieran Tierney’s shoulder injury is to be assessed by Arsenal today.

The left-back was clearly in a lot of pain as he walked jadedly off the pitch at West Ham on Monday night.

Gunners guru David Ornstein reported in The Athletic  that Tierney has been nursing a shoulder problem in recent weeks.

The north Londoners had already lost Hector Bellerin to injury in the warm-up, before Tierney was forced off after 29 minutes following a collision with Michail Antonio.

After the game, Freddie Ljungberg revealed that the Scot had gone to the hospital to be assessed.

Kieran Tierney is substituted after sustaining a shoulder injury

“Tierney, I think it’s something with his shoulder but I don’t know exactly what it is,” said the boss.

“But obviously we had to take him off so I think he’s going to maybe go to hospital and check what it is.”

Sead Kolasinac came on for Tierney while Bellerin was replaced in the starting XI by Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

Arsenal came from behind to end their nine-match winless streak as Freddie Ljungberg enjoyed his first victory as interim manager at the expense of his former club West Ham.
