Arsenal could get their hands on Wilfried Zaha this summer after the Ivorian met with Cyrstal Palace chairman Steve Parish this week to reveal he wants to leave.

Crystal Palace face a struggle to retain the services of the Ivory Coast international and it is the Gunners who are backed to sign the former Manchester United man, as Unai Emery seeks to bolster his side in the final third.

Zaha stepped up for Palace this season by scoring 10 goals and adding five assists to the Eagles Premier League campaign.

The forward, who signed a new long-term deal last summer now hopes his plea will prompt a summer transfer but he could cost as much as £80m.

The Daily Mail understands that Zaha feels he’s ready to challenge for trophies.

Arsenal have been linked with the former Manchester United man in the past. Zaha wants to have his future resolved before Palace’s players return for pre-season to avoid the situation dragging on too long.
