Arsenal are ready to offer Jack Wilshere a new contract following the midfielder’s return to the first-team.

Wilshere made his comeback last month after recovering from a broken leg in April. The playmaker was outstanding for Arsenal in their Europa League match at BATE Borisov. His performance has urged Arsenal supporters to call for his inclusion in the Premier League set up.

Wilshere was an unused substitute as Arsenal lost their third match of the season away to Watford on Saturday.

It was reported last week that Wilshere is considering his future at the club, with the World Cup in Russia next summer looming — the 25-year-old needs consistent game time as he looks to start for Gareth Southgate at the tournament.

However, Arsenal are set to offer the midfielder a new four-year contract.

Gooners, should Wilshere be involved in the Premier League starting XI? Let us know in the comments.
