Arsenal to offer Xhaka in January swoop for Leicester star

According to reports, Arsenal will offer Leicester the services of Granit Xhaha plus £20m for Wilfried Ndidi.

Mikel Arteta appears to be wasting no time at all in shaking things up at the Emirates following his arrival last week.

Xhaka has failed to win the fans over following his return to the side. The midfielder was dropped by Unai Emery and stripped of the Arsenal captaincy after he told supporters to ‘f*** off’ as he walked off the pitch back in October.

He’s been tipped to leave in January.The midfielder has been linked with Hertha Berlin amongst others in recent days.

Meanwhile, Ndidi has been shining for Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City who are currently comfortably in the top four.

The Nigerian, 23, has been a key factor in Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes storming to second in the Premier League this term.

Arsenal are set to offer Granit Xhaka in a deal to persuade Leicester to part with the 23 year-old.
