Despite the coronavirus disruption, Mikel Arteta looks set to be heavily involved in the transfer market this summer.

One story which looks set to rumble on and on is that of the future of Dayot Upamecano.

The Frenchman has been on Arsenal’s radar for some time now and The Sun reports that Gunners’ chances have improved with the centre-back keen to move at the end of the season.

Upamecano reportedly has a £75m release clause which drops to around £50m this summer – you’d think even with the drop, that would be too steep for the Gunners.

The futures of Skodran Mustafi and Sokratis Papastathopolous are unclear, but with the impending arrival of William Saliba and possibly Pablo Mari on a permanent deal suggests they will be well stocked without them.

Gooners, would signing Dayot Upamecano be at the top of your transfer wishlist? Let us know in the comments…
