Freddie Ljungberg is set to experience his first match as Arsenal manager in front of his home fans.

The Gunners interim boss will see his side go 6th with a win over Brighton on Thursday.

Ljungberg has no new injury concerns following the 2-2 draw with Norwich.

However, centre-back Rob Holding and midfielder Dani Ceballos do remain sidelined.

As for the visitors, full-back Bernardo is back in contention following three months out with a knee injury.

The Seagulls have lost their last three Premier League games and now sit just one point from safety.

Despite their poor form, Arsenal fans should be concerned – of course it was Brighton, who in May, delivered the knockout blow to Arsenal’s top-four aspirations by grinding out a 1-1 draw at the Emirates.

Arsenal are looking to end their winless run currently standing at eight matches in all competitions (D6, L2). It is their longest winless streak since February 1992 under George Graham.
