Arsenal v Southampton

Arsenal take on Southampton at the Emirates with the hope that a win will take Unai Emery’s side into the top four.

With the help from Mesut Ozil, the Gunners were able to recover from a goal down against BATE Borisov midweek to book their place in the last 16 of the Europa League.

Ozil has started just two matches since the turn of 2019, but Emery has insisted he will continue to rotate the German in his side.

Alexandre Lacazette is available against the SAints after being suspended for that match but Ainsley Maitland-Niles is struggling with illness.

The north Londoners go into Sunday’s game as favourites were defeated at St Mary’s in December, ensuring Emery will give Southampton full respect.

Arsenal could return to the top four if they can better Manchester United’s score. The Red Devils host Liverpool at 14:05 on Sunday.
