The international break next week is set to tear apart our weekly traditions once again but at least this stage of the season will go out in a bang, in the form of the North London Derby.
Arsenal host Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon in the first Premier League North London Derby of the season, where Spurs will be looking to get revenge on their League Cup defeat suffered by the Gunners in September.
With the Gunners currently joint-top in the Premier League, and Spurs having the possibility of rising to third in the table with a win, there’s everything to play for and it should be one of the most hotly contested derbies we have seen between the two sides in recent years.
Spurs have lost just once so far this season and took a huge scalp in October in the form of Manchester City, showing that they have the capability to cause Arsene Wenger’s side issues, but Arsenal have won their last five Premier League fixtures.
