Arsenal’s longtime midfield target set to remain in Spain

Arsenal, Roma and Tottenham have all shown interested in the past year following Malcom’s emerge on the European stage at former club Bordeaux.

However, it was the La Liga giants who snapped the star up in the summer.

The Frenchman has since struggled to bed in at Barca, but he says Lionel Messi is helping him get through his early days in Spain.

“I came to Barcelona with many objectives, and those who know me know that I am a very determined person,” he said (via Express). “Simply by exchanging passes with (Messi), I am learning so much.”

Following the serious injury to Danny Welbekc, Arsenal had been tipped once again to make a move for Malcom. Thought it looks like Unai Emery will have to look elsewhere if he’s to fill his personnel void up front.
