Arsenal may have been handed the avenue towards a stunning summer transfer deal as reports suggest a prime-target is ready to quit his current club.

The Sun states Monaco’s teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe is ready to walk from Monaco after becoming disillusion with the French champions following the sales of key-players Benjamin Mendy, Bernardo Silva and Tiemoue Bakayoko.

Speculation continues to suggest that Thomas Lemar will also be on the move away from the French principality side and Monaco’s mass exodus has left 18-year-old Mbappe contemplating an exit, having previously been prepared to continue his development at Monaco.

Real Madrid stand as the favourites for the French teenager, who grew up idolising Los Blancos’ Cristiano Ronaldo, but he has established a strong rapport with Arsene Wenger and a move to Arsenal is still not being ruled out.

Other clubs chasing the French ace include Manchester City, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, though it’s likely any interested party will have to smash the world transfer record and pay in excess of £120m to land the highly-rated forward.
