Arsene Wenger says he has no problem starting Lacazette in the big games.

The Frenchman arrived for a club-record fee from Lyon this summer, but was left out of the Arsenal side that lost 4-0 to Liverpool in August and was dropped for the 3-1 defeat to Manchester City a fortnight ago.

Despite missing a number of games, Lacazette has made a superb start to life at the Emirates. The striker who netted 37 goals in 45 games for Lyon last season has already tallied six for Arsenal.

And Arsene Wenger claims he has complete trust in him ahead of Saturday’s North London derby.

“I have a big choice to make every time, big decisions to make up front. But he played many games, Alexandre Lacazette.

“He didn’t play away from home at City, I think that is the only game he didn’t start. I trust him completely.

“The decision is not made yet (whether Lacazette starts on Saturday) but it is a possibility, because he is available.”

Gooners will be hoping Lacazette can continue his rich vain of form against their bitter rivals. He scored at Manchester City prior to the international break and fired a double for France in midweek.
