Arsenal are still yet to recruit new personnel in the January and head coach Mikel Arteta has admitted it’s possible the club do not sign anyone this month.
PSG’s Layvin Kurzawa has been heavily linked with a switch to the Emirates.
But latest reports suggest the Gunners have agreed to sign the left-back on a free on a five-year-deal this summer.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move to the Emirates in recent weeks, although his manager Thomas Tuchel insisted he wanted the player to stay at the club.
On if Arsenal are close to any signings: “Things haven’t moved at all since the weekend.”
On Kurzawa links: “There is nothing new to say on any individual players. When we have more info, we’ll let you know.”
When asked if Arsenal may go window without any signings, Arteta replied: “It’s a possibility, yes.”
On the Gunners’ plans for the rest of the January transfer window, the Spaniard said: “The circumstances are changing daily because we keep having more and more injuries and suspensions.
“We are there in the market, we are looking for options who can help us improve and give us more stability in certain areas but it’s still early to say anything.”
