Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has fired back at claims he has been warned over his friendly relationship with Youtube channel AFTV.

The Arsenal star has reportedly been warned over his social media activity.

Aubameyang was recently handed the captain’s armband following Granit Xhaka’s outburst against the fans.

According to The Athletic,  the decision to award the striker the captaincy has not been an universally popular one with everyone at the north London club – including some fans.

The report suggest the Gabon international’s relationship, in particular with AFTV Youtuber ‘Troopz’ has raised ‘concerns’ among the Arsenal camp.

‘Troopz’ has denied claims Aubameyang invited him to watch Arsenal games from the comfort of his executive box at the Emirates on several occasions.

Meanwhile, Aubameyang responded to the rumours by posting a picture of himself looking glum on Instagram , along with the message: “I just arrived in Gabon and hear a lot of bulls***.

“I talk with who I want, whenever I want, and if somebody’s not happy with… you already know.”

Some Arsenal fans feel Aubameyang’s close bond with the channel is a way of trying to avoid criticism himself.
