According to reports Barcelona have declared interest in Manchester United forward and Arsenal target Anthony Martial.

Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo claim Barca have been alerted to Martial’s situation due to his lack of playing time under Jose Mourinho this season and last.

The Frenchman has started just one Premier League game this season with his manager preferring Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku in the frontline.

The 21 year-old is still regarded as one of the most promising young talents, but is unable to get a consistent run at Old Trafford to make an impact.

But despite his lack of game time, Martial’s excelled in something of a super-sub role for United this term. His lack of starts for the Red Devils has reportedly caught Barcelona’s attention as they weigh up a move in the near future.

Arsene Wenger has a track record of turning young players into world beaters, but it would come as a huge surprise if Manchester United were willing to sell the star to a direct rival.

He’ll have to see off competition from the Nou Camp if he wants to welcome Martial to The Emirates.
