Barcelona resume interest in Arsenal star

Hector Bellerin is once again a target of Barcelona.

That’s according to reports in The Sun.

The 21-year-old came through the youth ranks at the Camp Nou before leaving for Arsenal at 16 year’s old.

Bellerin is now closing in on 150 appearances since making his debut for the Gunners back in 2013.

He’s been linked with a return to the La Liga champions several times and the latest reports suggest Barca are preparing a bid of £38million for the 24-year-old who has struggled with injury this season.

Ernesto Valverde’s side are currently top of La Liga and into the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Bellerin was due to start for Arsenal in Monday’s win over West Ham. The full-back has been assessed on the hamstring strain he picked up in the pre-match warm up.

Interim boss Freddie Ljungberg will be hopeful Bellerin is fit ahead of the visit of Manchester City this weekend.
