Danny Murphy believes a top six side will benefit from signing Crystal Palace defenderAaron Wan-Bissaka

The 21 year-old has shot to prominence this season after breaking into Palace’s team and consistently impressing at right-back.

Wan-Bissaka is being linked with a number of top European clubs following an outstanding breakthrough season from the Palace academy.

With Chelsea and Manchester United suggested to be keen, former Liverpool midfielder Murphy says the star is likely to get snapped up by a big six club this summer.

‘This Wan-Bissaka, unfortunately for Palace fans, maybe they’ll keep him another year, it won’t do him any harm at all playing more games and getting more experience,’ Murphy told talkSPORT.

‘There’s a gaping hole at Man Utd for a right-back. Ashley Young’s done brilliantly, but he’s 34.

‘Has he overtaken Trippier or can he? He doesn’t play every week.

‘He (Pochettino) switches between him and Aurier, he is not sure? Arsenal, their back four needs some improvement.’

The 21-year-old England U21 international is also highly-valued at Selhurst Park, having signed a new contract until 2022 in April 2018.
