He’s still yet to make his debut for Arsenal, but Bernd Leno is not concerned by his lack of first-team action at the Emirates.
The goalkeeper who arrived from Bayer Leverkusen in a £20million deal this summer has watched Petr Cech keep between the sticks so far.
To his credit, the veteran ‘keeper is enjoying a solid start to the season and is so far much improved on his form from last season.
It’s meant, Leno, who agreed a five-year deal at Arsenal is still waiting to take to the pitch in the red and white.
But the 26 year-old says he is happy waiting patiently for his chance.
‘I am convinced that my change was the right decision,’ Leno told Sport Bild.
‘I’m not crazy. It may take a few weeks or months, but my time here will come.’
Gooners, are you happy with Petr Cech? Or should Leno be thrown in now? Let us know in the comments…
