Laurent Koscielny is reportedly wanted by Borussia Dortmund.

With the veteran Frenchman entering his final year of his current contract at the Emirates, Arsenal may choose to allow the defender to leave in order to free up funds for new players.

The Mirror claim Arsenal will demand £10.6million for captain Koscielny as Dortmund step up their interest.

The Gunners have found their finances impacted by failure to qualify for a place in next season’s Champions League and selling Koscielny could see them get certain prospective deals over the line.

Unlike the north Londoners, Dortmund can offer the 33 year-old Champions League football next season.

Koscielny joined Arsenal in 2010 from, at the time, Ligue 2 side Lorient. The Gunners captain who returned from a serious achilles injury towards the end of last season has made over 250 Premier League appearances and scored 22 goals.
