Arsenal travel to the south coast to face Bournemouth on Wednesday night, looking to round off their festive fixtures with a third successive win.

The Gunners will go into the game on the crest of a wave after Olivier Giroud’s wonder goal set Arsene Wenger’s side off to a home win over Crystal Palace on New Year’s Day.

The north Londoners, however, will be wary of Eddie Howe’s side, especially on their own turf. The Cherries go into the game off the back of a 3-0 win over managerless Swansea City on New Year’s Eve, and have already claimed some scalps at Dean Court.

Champions Leicester and Merseyside duo Liverpool and Everton have all been beaten at Bournemouth this season, however they will be without their key man, on loan Arsenal midfielder, Jack Wilshere.

A win will take Arsenal to within a point of second placed Liverpool, who were held to a draw at struggling Sunderland in Monday’s games.
