I remember watching Mings play for Ipswich and thinking “this boy isn’t half bad.” Good stature and descent awareness, I thought maybe one day we will see him in the Premier League. I also remember my mood instantly changing when he began being linked with Arsenal. “Really?,” I exclaimed out loud and my initial thought was where would he fit and where would that leave the likes of Chambers, Bellerin, and Jenkinson when he gets back. I rate all three higher than Mings by the way, and I cannot think of a more pointless signing than he would be at the moment.
