Arsenal are still in the process of finding a new head coach.
Unai Emery was sacked last week and has been replaced temporarily by Freddie Ljungberg.
The Arsenal ‘Invincible’ got his management career off to a solid start after a 2-2 draw with Norwich.
But Gunners hero David Seaman believes former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino would be an ideal replacement for Emery.
The ex-‘Keeper would ideally like to see former team-mate Patrick Vieira given an opportunity to shine, but he believes the players will be desperate for Pochettino to ditch his allegiances to Spurs and join Arsenal.
Spurs moved quickly to bring Jose Mourinho in. Seaman reckons Arsenal need to do the same and get Poch in The Emirates hot seat.
‘Yeah I’ve seen a lot of the people that have been mentioned and I was hoping someone like Patrick Vieira might get a chance of being in there,’ he told TalkSport (via Metro).
‘But it doesn’t look like that would happen.
‘But the name that I keep going back to now is Poch!
‘If you asked the players if they would take him now and I bet you a good 90% of them would say yes.’
Gooners, who would you like to see replace Emery permanently? Let us know in the comments…
