Arsenal are set to play Ostersunds in the Europa League Round of 32 and it’s a match Ostersunds defender and lifelong Arsenal fan Ronald Mukiib has been dreaming of.

The side who have taken their first crack at European competition by storm this season are managed by Englishman Graham Potter.

Monday’s draw has seen the Swedish side, formed in 1996, one month after Wenger began his tenure at Arsenal pitted against the Gunners for the first time.

And Mukiib is relishing the opportunity of playing against his boyhood side.

Speaking to Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, the 26-year-old said he plans to have words with Arsene Wenger over a possible move to the Emirates.

‘I want to exchange a few words with Wenger and ask him why he sets his team up as he does. That would be fun. ‘I want to talk with him about why he makes certain decisions. Maybe we can talk about my own future during the conversation? If I have a good match then…’

Mukiib played a significant role in the Ostersunds side that concede just four goals in the group stage. If the Swede continues to perform, Wenger may just answer his call.
