Door open for Arsenal to sign forward after Barcelona withdraw interest

Arsenal have been given the green light to complete a move for Nabil Fekir this summer.

The France international is a reported target of the Gunners having established himself as one of the after Barcelona  with the 24-year-old having scored 21 goals in just 33 appearances across all competitions.

Fekir’s agent recently suggested that his client could leave Lyon at the end of the season, leading to increased speculation over where his next destination could be.

And according to Sports Mole, Spanish giants Barca have dropped interest as a result of having too many attacking players.

Arsene Wenger began a squad revamp last month and the Frenchman could continue to make drastic changes this summer.

Danny Welbeck and Alex Iwobi have struggled for form this season and could follow Theo Walcott, Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud out of the Emirates.
