Everton have stepped up their interst in Theo Walcott and are prepared to make a £20m offer.
The Toffees have struggled for goals this season and believe Theo could help solve their problems.
Walcott has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates this season and is keen to play regularly.
He’s currently Arsenal’s longest serving player having joined the north Londoners from Southampton in 2006. His former side have shown interest in a potential return move, but it appears Sam Allardyce’s side are now in pole position for his signature.
Walcott has scored over 100 goals for Arsenal in all competitions and made over 250 Premier League appearances.
However, he has managed just 5 appearances in the Premier League this term, all of which have come from the bench.
West Ham and Newcastle have also expressed interested, but whether Arsenal are willing to part with the forward in this window remains to be seen.
