Former Inter Milan midfielder Nicola Berti would like to see Alexis Sanchez move to Inter Milan.
Sanchez has been tipped for a January move with Arsenal having failed to convince him to sign a new deal.
Speaking to Italian outlet Rai Sport, Berti believes the Arsenal star should be at the top of Inter wishlist over the next couple of windows. The Milan side are currently second in the Serie A, but Berti wants the club to aim even higher and thinks Sanchez could lift them one place higher.
The 50-year-old said: “I would like to see Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal. He is a true champion, capable of making a difference for at least three or four years … and what a partner he would be for Mauro Icardi.”
Inter have been in fine form so far this season, with 17 goals in their first eight matches. If boss Luciano Spalletti can add Sanchez to the mix, his side will become a force to be reckoned with.
