A tale of two halves ultimately saw Arsenal scrape through into the next round of the FA Cup.

Mikel Arteta fielded a strong Gunners side against Championship table toppers Leeds United, but it was the away team who dominated the first-half.

Leeds were more adventurous, dictated the tempo, pressed Arsenal into errors and made a number of clear-cut opportunities.

Unfortunately for Marcelo Bielsa, and for those who backed the underdogs with Coral 2020 on bets-promo-code.co.uk, his side were unable to capitalise on their chances and ultimately were punished by the north Londoners.

Arsenal, who looked Jaded after the New Years Day win over Manchester United, were much improved in the second period.

The Championship promotion hopefuls were defeated thanks to a second half effort from Reiss Nelson.

This was a night which will only embolden the rookie boss Arteta, and strengthen his conviction in his methods.
