No surprises to read that Joel Campbell is looking for a January exit from Arsenal, according to the Mirror.
Campbell has only made one start this season – the home defeat against Southampton in the Capital One Cup – along with three other substitute appearances (16 minutes against Everton, 21 versus Hull and 16 in the away game against Anderlecht).
After such an impressive World Cup with Costa Rica, Campbell was tipped to return to north London and finally make a mark. However, that hasn’t happened with the forward not even making the matchday squad for the 3-0 win over Burnley in the Premier League and the embarrassing 3-3 draw against Anderlecht in midweek.
With the return to fitness of Yaya Sanogo and Olivier Giroud (nearly two months ahead of schedule), you can’t really see the former Olympiakos-loanee getting much more game time.
A loan deal will probably be the most likely outcome for Campbell.
What do you think of the whole situation? Should Campbell be given more of a chance? Do you trust Arsene Wenger’s judgement? Is another loan deal really best for the forward?
@Arsenal Could you ask Wenger & Joel Campbell to attend the Jeremy Kyle show because there are issues in there relationship? #AskMonreal

Maybe if Joel Campbell improved his passing – the most fundamental skill needed to play for Arsenal – then he'd get some game time
