Arsenal have entered the race to sign Porto striker Jackson Martinez, an exciting and effective player sure to bring an extra spark to the Gunners’ front line. Martinez, an Arsenal fan from childhood, has 10 goals in 35 appearances for the Colombian national squad, and is famous for celebrating scoring by dancing the Cha Cha Cha.
At just 28-years-old, and with 32 goals in 42 games at Porto this season, Martinez has tremendous potential for growth in the years to come. His physicality and pace contrasted with Olivier Giroud’s aerial ability and intelligent movement could be a deadly combination up top for the Gunners.
