Five things all Arsenal fans are bored of hearing

As Arsenal fans, there are things we’ve had to get used to hearing whether we like it or not. So and so is has been linked with Arsenal, Wenger denies this and that, such and such is happy at the club despite his lack of playing time… We are sick of it, and this year has been no different. Gooners have become so accustomed to these kind of reports, that it truly is boring at this point.

We know Arsenal underachieve a lot, we know the injury list is always growing, and yes, Wenger always happens to “not see” the majority of controversial calls that go against Arsenal. We get it. Trust me, every Arsenal fan is collectively rolling their eyes right about now.

Podolski rumours

We love Podolski. He is a brilliant footballer who should be playing more. But we are sick of it. One day he’s leaving, the next day he’s not. The player will come out and move to deny reports of him leaving, only for another report to surface a week later “revealing” his unhappiness at his playing time. Wenger has since denied that the player is up for sale, but the relentless rumours have continued to surface. At this point, we want the situation to be resolved one way or another.

 Sami Khedira rumours

Another case of relentless rumours and reports. One moment, the deal is already in place and needs just a signature, the next moment he is not coming and never was. He’s unsettled at Madrid one week, the next week he is not. The player himself revealed he is not thinking about leaving Madrid, but that hasn’t stopped the tabloids from linking him with Arsenal. Again, either he is coming or he is not. We are tired of being pulled back and forth.

 Injuries

Every year Arsenal enters the season healthy and every year a slew of injuries decimates the squad. Reports of who Arsenal should have and could have bought to reduce the impact of injuries then begins to surface and gooners truly are bored of it. We need no reminding, we are frustrated and don’t need to hear it from you!
 Wenger this, Wenger that

Wenger should have done this, he should have done that. Why has he done that? Why didn’t he buy so and so? Enough. Wenger has his ways, but he is our manager and we stick by him and trust in him. He knows what he is doing whether or not we always agree with him and nobody want to hear constant moaning about his decisions.

Ex Gunners’ success

Every time someone leaves Arsenal and wins a trophy elsewhere, a connection is always drawn between those two things. To imply that the only reason the player won a trophy is because he left Arsenal is insulting and annoying. We don’t want to hear it anymore. We don’t go around finding players who won trophies after leaving their prior clubs, nor do we go around boasting about it.
