While many have naturally compared Rob Holding to Gary Cahill given his England prospects, Holding is a Bolton lad through and through unlike the now Chelsea defender.

With Cahill having come through Aston Villa’s youth system as a kid, Holding has been with Bolton Wanderers since the age of seven so making his first team debut for the Whites last term represented the achievement of a long-term goal.
