Former Gunner could return to the Emirates

Arsenal have reportedly offered a deal to former academy star Oguzhan Ozyakup.

The Mirror claim the Gunners are now waiting on a response after from the Besiktas captain.

Ozyakup, 25, spent four years at the Emirates Stadium before sealing a return back to Turkey in 2012.

The Gunners sold the midfielder for €500,000, but now want him back and could sign him on a free with his deal set to expire, report Aksam (via Milliyet).

Ozyakup has established himself as one of the hottest talents in Turkish football and can operate as either a defensive or attacking midfielder.

The former Gunner failed to make a Premier League appearance for Arsene Wenger’s side, but did represent the club in two League Cup matches.

If Arsenal do snap him up, could it spell the end for a current Arsenal man? Aaron Ramsey is reportedly a target of Liverpool and meanwhile Granit Xhaka has struggled at times this season.
