Is Karim a good enough finisher for us?

Pretty obvious today we need someone extremely clinical, we are either wasting clear chances or trying to walk it over the line. Maybe Lewandowski is a better fit.

Lewa would definitely be a better fit but he's very very unlikely to leave after 1 season. Cavani is probably a more lethal finisher than Benz but won't get involved in build up play or create for others as much as Benzema would.

Any of those 3 though are absolutely essential. I have faith we'll bring our man in.

Does it really matter? I'd take my grandma over Giroud atm. Just watching Giroud run makes me want to gouge my eyes out.

It would top off a terrible weekend for football if Man City signed Benzema.

Honestly, I don't think I can handle another season with Giroud as our first-choice striker, at least in a lone-striker role. Even the players look reluctant to react to his decisions. I'd take the instinct of Benzema without a pre-season with the team over this Giroud we have right now.

Giroud looked better on the wing than as striker today. Crossing the ball in to where he should be is just painful to watch. Please let this be an eye opener for Wenger. We need a quality striker up front bare minimum (I also think we badly need a dm but that's for another thread)
