Positives:
3 points!!
Alexis and Özil looking good and off the mark
Sexy attacking football in the first half

Negatives:
Ox continues to disappoint
Once again we are put under too much pressure defending a lead (for a supposedly possession based team we are not great at possession football)

Well, we're up & running. Seems to be the same as before, we cruise into the lead but then have to hold on for dear life. Saying that Watford really didn't have any clear cut chances and their goal was a total fluke - typical Arsenal luck - ping pong ball arrives at their players foot (decent finish though). Thing is, our inability to kill off the game on the break despite have some excellent opportunities was once again glaring.

Theo deserved a goal and the Ox deserved a kick up the backside.

Xhaka better ease off on the sliding tackles

Elneny's a really good squad player.

Thankfully 3 pts in the bag.

Onward & forward.

i dont understand the double standards of Arsenal Fans ..... when we give up 2 -0 lead "ohh what a eff all performance why dont we see the game through why do we always try to score 6-0".......when we do just tht "ohh the second half was crap we were dominated why cant we score 6-0 all the time?"

What game was you watching? or was that sarcasm?

He had a good game but a performance like that is what we should expect from that **** baring in mind the 140k we pay him a week.
I watched the game where he was clearly our best attacker, again. His movement was superb, was denied a goal by a great save from Gomez and if anyone could be bothered to play him in when he makes his runs he could have had a hat-trick.

Alexis trying to chip the keeper from 25 yards instead of playing him in made me sick.

Don't see Ramsey playing CM for us any time soon. Wonder if he'll be satisfied with playing as a RW with a free role.

Someone in our squad needs to emerge as the candidate to partner Xhaka in midfield. Santi is fine if we're playing a team like Watford who are set up with a five-man defence, but he's not the solution. Coq and Elninho won't cut it against the big teams either.

Ramsey lacks discipline and consistency, we all know that, but he's the only one with the right technical/physical qualities to nail down that spot and make a difference. Having missed out on Kante, and barring a change in formation, I don't see what chance we have of challenging for the PL if Ramsey doesn't make the necessary adjustments to his game.

Ox continues to disappoint

Ox deserved a kick up the backside.

Walcott had a good game, ox was sh.te though

Running out of excuses for him. Big club mentality = Ox doesn't start, it's that simple. His end product is woeful and he needs to go on loan.

:(

That first half though...:drool::drool::drool::drool:

Anyone expecting Watford to sit down & die in the 2nd 1/2 is deluded. If there's anything we've learnt from watching the EPL of the years is that most team no matter what the score ever gives up.

It is a worth of thought how we behave our fitness levels through matchess. We explode at certain times and then calm down at others.

Feels like 2nd half we gave to much away. Hopefully it will improve with better fitness.

A win's a win. Played some great stuff in the first half. Loved some of Xhaka passing especially the one he curled in to Alexis path. Even though we conceded we held it together enough. Was wondering if we'd see the well trodden path of capitulating in games we should have won easy.

Hopefully the two lads get signed now and announced today.
