Cech has been solid this season. He's maybe only let in a couple "should have" goals... then again I remember him having some good saves too...

Anyway... the point is that we are buckling under some intense pressing

Ross Barkley is sheight. Brain dead pace merchant. Sheight final ball too. Scores the odd long ranger and apparently he has promise.

Why are people blaming the wide men when we've been poor centrally. On a tight slick pitch we need to be sharper in the middle, Coq and Xhaka have given the ball and free kicks away because of this and have little control in midfield. Another annoyance I've noticed is when we're under the cosh Cechs distribution is going no where and we have no one to hold the ball or win headers up top. Would rather have seen Iwobi or even Giroud/Perez start, it's a small pitch so not as much ground to cover.

Giroud will hold it up.

Pointless though, we all know no subs yet.

We've got reinforcements on the bench and the lads will up it in the second half. James McCarthy needs a good hiding tbh. Always trying to play the hardman. Hope Xhaka two foots him.

The commentator said Everton haven't lost at home in the league since we beat them there last season.

Well. Time to do it again.
