Today is my birthday, so we better win this.
You barked that you didn't like Coquelin at home. That's all I got.Did I say that top talent meant top football player?
Hope you get 'our' Birthday wish, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!Today is my birthday, so we better win this.
le coq is not a bang average footballer, he is bang average as a cm but not as a defensive midfielder. The only person who has been bang average this season is ramsey. Next thing you know Özil will be considered a bang average footballer if he plays a s a cm and is not good at the defensive part of the game.AMN has always been top talent.
Coquelin has always been band average football player.
Competition for the attacking spots is getting intense...
Özil and Sanchez are untouchable but for the remaining spots Giroud, Walcott, Ox, Iwobi, Welbeck and Lucas all will feel hard done if they don't get to play and justly so. Headache for Wenger but obviously we're doing much better than last year when even Joel Campbell who wouldn't make the squad now got heavy game-play.

You've mistaken, I said that without putting words into your mouth. If that is all you got from what I said why you put words into my mouth that I was saying that top talents were top players?
I dunno. Giroud up front at home to a Watford who will defend deep makes a lot of sense to me. He's been incredibly prolific of late and while Sanchez is our best striker he is also our best attacking midfielder/winger. Think I'd play Lucas - Giroud - Sanchez for this and probably Iwobi/Welbeck - Sanchez - Walcott at Stanford bridge.Yes, its a great problem for Wenger to have. Welbeck wont play, Wenger has said 2 games in 3 days may be too much to ask. I hope he doesnt bring Giroud back as a starter, it just slows us down. He's great to have on the bench. I would go Perez-----Alexis-----Walcott.
you didnt address my main point which was that coq is not according to you, bang average. As for ramsey he is still not doing what a centre mid is supposed to, which is dictate tempo and defend. I dont want ramsey scoring goals, i need him controlling games. He cant pass like xhaka, he cant defend like coq and he cant dribble like ox or wilshere or carzola. So you tell me why he should even be in our midfield if all he does is make runs and try to score? You watched the same games i did, his terrible touch, the fact that he cant seem to link play and his poor positioning. Ox in one game showed us what we have been missing since carzola got injured.Ramsey barely played this season and in his few games so far he has been very solid.

Edit. And now I forgot about the Ox. Yeah, good options tbh.

I would take xhaka and ox to partner coq because at least i know we will be able to pass forward.
box to box means you have an effect on both boxes, you score in the opposition and you defend your box from the opposition. People seem to think that box to box means just goal scoring. There is a reason ramsey was played further forward for wales. They couldnt trust him in the middle of the park. Having a real box to box player allows a player like xhaka to thrive because the b2b can also help defend. As we all know ramsey positioning is terrible and we see him at times not even bothering to track back. He may have the engine of a b2b but does not play like one, Henderson is a better b2b than ramsey. He was until klopp made him defensive midfielder and now he uses that engine as a ball winner. Something it seems ramsey is not capable of.Why would Ramsey dictate the tempo when he is box-to-box midfielder and has Xhaka beside him who is specialist in passing the football? Of course Xhaka dictates the tempo not Ramsey.
ps just to add, the ox seems like a better candidate in the b2b role, he is fast, strong, can dribble and more importantly seems to be better at keeping and winning the ball than ramsey. I repeat a b2b midfielder is not just a goals scorer. Why would Ramsey dictate the tempo when he is box-to-box midfielder and has Xhaka beside him who is specialist in passing the football? Of course Xhaka dictates the tempo not Ramsey.
