What a disaster of a season.. 1 win against the top teams, poor away against the top half, only thing that we've been able to do is beat the bad teams, even there we've slipped up a few times..

Just not acceptable and major changes needs to happen this summer..
That's the best graph I have seen this season on the team's performance, says it all.

This shows the managers capabilities perfectly. The away form against the top 8 is just horrendous.

We can't.
We're not attractive enough. There are clubs out there who are far more powerful.

We need to go back to the RVP/Cesc/hleb era.
Do what Monaco & Dortmund do nowadays.
Go for young talented cheap players. And develop them. But now we have the financial power to keep them.

These days you've got to either spunk huge money up the wall every summer and hope something sticks, or assemble a squad of young talent in a short period of time.

The young talent route is our only real path, but you've got a limited amount of time. You need to be winning things or be in with a real shout straight away or else you're susceptible to the money spunkers. Monaco and Dortmund are always going to be raided no matter how well they do, but we're just big enough and play in the biggest league, so we'd avoid that, again provided we were legit threats for the big trophies.

A 24 or 25 year old who makes it on big wages here is more likely to resist mental wages from the oil clubs/RM/Barca and settle for less mental wages here if we're already a title winning side and pushing on as opposed to finishing 4th every season and winning the FA Cup. Wenger had it right in the early Emirates days, we just bottled it when our time came in 07-08, and never recovered.

The same thing will happen to Spuds if they win nothing again next season, which will likely happen. Kane and Alli will be off for £100m each and they'll be back to square one.

Squad overhaul seems to be the main knee jerk response. Buying players will solve nothing. We do not have worse players than Sp**s. The difference is they have a better manager. We are shockingly bad tactically. We are weak mentally and we are under prepared offensively. That is the fault of the manager.

it's funny fans and pundits alike are now unanimous in saying the squad is missing this and that and needs an overhaul when I quite clearly remember everyone being chuffed with the summer business and only really questioning the CF position...

I don't have more faith on players like Ramsey Walcott and Gibbs coq they are average and need to be sold even with new manager he'll can't improve them

I don't think we played too badly, but we were toothless in the final third. They scored, end of

They had numerous shots, way more than us, and looked far likelier to score; Cech had to make 9 saves, as that earlier-posted stat shows, while we rarely looked threatening. I'd say we played quite badly.
