All their stresses from their recent woe will disappear as soon as whistle goes for kick-off, and the likes of Rooney, Sigurdsson and anyone else struggling with a bit of form, will remember they're decent players.

I don't see how we emerge from this game with anything better than a point. The crowd, the moment, Koeman, Rooney, Everton... Us... All the ingredients for a defeat are there.

Forgot how awful his record with Koeman is, 3 wins from 13 is shocking. Even more so when you consider one of those is from the final day of the season and another against AZ Alkmaar.

Can't blame Wenger, Koeman has had more money to spend on his squads.

New name pending...
Nobody has the first clue or expectation of what is going to happen in this match. In years gone by, we would have expected a contest, but to come away with 3 points, now anything can happen.

Wouldn't have minded Wilshere over Xhaka, but perhaps it's worth giving him a rest and bringing him on later in the game if we need his spark.

theoretically that's our strongest front 7.

Cant believe we've had to wait this long for a sanchez-Özil-lacca front 3...it's not as if any of them have been out for huge stretches of time....just been caution

in fact .... there's a question about whether you'd have mustafi in for per..

but that's damn close to our strongest 11

Good team, probably the strongest we can manage with the players we have available. I'm still not confident.

Our strongest team on paper sure. But do Sanchez and Özil even want to play really? Deep down?

Don't get too excited people. :)
