Brighton would ask different questions. Ive said it a few times in this thread so far, but beating this lot in a game where the pace and demands are nothing like that of a PL game , shouldn't be seen as some sort of dawn.
Neither should losing against a team fighting relegation when we have nothing to play for in the league be seen as some sort of sunset.

Just had a premonition of Lacazette scoring against his old club, Lyon, in the final. I saw it clearly. Only problem was he celebrated by jumping on one-legged winged Giraffe and flew it around Leyton Orients ground, where the final took place. It must be a sign.

Milan sat off our midfield. Mkhitarian and Özil had all the space and time on the ball they need and that made it pretty easy.
This never happens in the premier league, against any club big or small.
Luckily for us these Serie A teams are slow and don't play a pressing game. I don't see the return leg being much of a challenge if they don't adjust their tactics.

Getting the highlights now, good result and performance but we've seen this before. Hopefully the board will have the stones to perform surgery instead of continuing to put a bandage round a gangrenous wound. Simeone won't be near so generous if we continue to progress.

Didn’t get a chance to watch, but obviously pleased with the result (in a vacuum at least). Wenger always seems to snatch that last lifeline, huh?
