Arsenal have received a boost in the race to sign Ben Wilmot from Stevenage.

Tottenham are also keen on the 18-year-old, who was left out of the squad this weekend.

The Sun report Boro want £2m for their prized jewel, while Watford are also interested.

The Hornets even had a £500,000 bid turned down by the League Two club.

“We have made public our valuation,” said Stevenage chairman Phil Wallace. “The closer we are getting to that the more likely it is that Ben will move.”
