Atmosphere at Emirates

Not sure what's happened at the Emirates this season but definitely the loudest, aggressive, most hostile sort of atmospheres I can remember ever on a consistent basis.

yeah been pleasantly surpised lately, hopefully the fans can continue getting behind the team and the players and manager give them a reason to.

On a different note, saw a guy get chucked out the North Bank Upper last night. When the third goal went in, he threw a bottle of water and I think tried to hit Lingard. Obviously just hit the fans in the lower section of the upper stand, got them wet. About 5 minutes later, the stewards escorted him out and as he was going down the steps the fans were trying to get to him. One guy reached over the steward and slapped/punched him hard in the back of the head....absolutely mental!

I was at The North Bank yesterday and I thought the atmopshere was great. Don't know how came across om the telly but I saw several articles pointing out The noise levels too

I was way up in the upper tier but it was even good there. Not so much joyous, more a bit tense and aggressively urging the team on. But in the context of all the apathy this season it was refreshing.

Exactly what I was thinking just watching from home. The fan noices in the background have been like up by 3 levels. Lifted my mood immediately !

Today was obviously a very special occasion but from time to time the Emirates crowd shows that it can be very loud. Good to see the variety of songs the last two home games too.

I think we'll see the noise levels go up next season. It got too comfortable, but it's kind of understandable. The uncertainty will help a lot. It's exciting.

I still remember when we first moved to the Emirates how the volume was astounding, compared to Highbury, when the ground was in full voice.

Unfortunately this has happened less and less often, partly the style of play and the feeling that some players weren't giving their all, partly results. The failure to provide more means of travelling to/from the stadium which puts 50% more people in already long queues to get to the tube means the ground starts emptying 10 minutes before the end.

The number of players having their own song or songs has gone down, the attendances have gone down. All this has an effect on the volume of support.

Today was good but if it is not to be a flash in the pan the club needs to start being more proactive.

Shameful atmosphere against Burnley, tbh. Douzi kept getting fouled and the crowd didn't make any noise.

@dashsnow17 kept pointing it out.

Watching the Cardiff game, it is astonishing how loud they are even though they are losing

Yeah none of the top clubs in England have a great atmosphere. Liverpool is only really pre-game although they like to think they have the best atmosphere in Europe; Dortmund's is one of the best.

I think the best in the premier league is probably Palace, Newcastle (depending on the form they're in) is usually good.

This should help change things.
I just wish we had a really catchy song that made anyone who heard it think Arsenal. Our songs are pretty meh tbh but it's a step in the right direction. Flags, our colours and all things Arsenal need to be in this section. Th6us should be for our (non criminal) ultras.

I like the Lacazette song personally:
