**** first two fixtures but a nice run after that. Hopefully we win the first one and make a statement.

Five points in August and we're cruising.

It will be really hard though.

One positive is the city players could be undercooked for the opener while most of ours will be in training from early July.

Hopefully Chelsea don't get their act together and we take advantage.

Pretty happy with that for a first game, gets Man City out of the way early and gives the whole squad a real test, motivation for the newly prepared squad should be high and hopefully we come out gunning in front of our crowd.

IF the squad put in a shift win or lose it will win over the fans straight away, win and it could work wonders for confidence!

Also I imagine City have a lot more players involved in the WC than us who may not be ready for the first game.

Excited!

Also Chelsea will be a complete mess by game two the way they are going.

Well thats a complete ****ter. You would of hoped for some nice early fixtures so we could build up a bit of momentum, help the players get the style Emery is after..... 2 losses from the off and everyone will be down. Grab 5 point in aug and i will be a happy man....Just dont get absolutely destroyed by city...

The following PL games are likely to move as they follow Europa League matches: Everton (home, September 22), Fulham (away, October 6), Crystal Palace (away, October 27), Wolves (home, November 10), Tottenham (home, December 1), Southampton (away, December 15)

That'll be a tough run at the end of November into December: EL-Sp**s-United-Huddersfield-EL-Southampton. 6 games in 17 days or something like that

Ridiculous start, but I think it's good to have such tough fixtures early on, when we can just get lucky and nick points, and then September and October are a fantastic opportunity for us to hit form, find our pace and build up some confidence! COYG!!

That really tough start playing the PL champion then a London darby away after that. The positive news that man city got a lot of players going to world cup Chelsea too so their top players won't be ready to start.
