Happy with that, I was kind of hoping for this. We will have important players fit, fresh and rested. No better time to play teams who've had most of their squad in the World Cup. And a great chance to get the new era up and running on the right foot. Win these games and people will start thinking maybe we've changed.

Also worth noting Liverpool have away games before all their European ties and this includes travelling to Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham. Pity it wasn't the other way round though.

Won't be surprised if that DT and Troops want Emery out after earning 1 point in first 2 games

I really like this fixture list for us. We’ll face City at a time they probably won’t be settled and at their best, what a statement it would be for Emery and the new Arsenal to start with a win against the champs. Don’t fear Chelsea currently either, definitely more than capable of gettin a result there. Even if the first 2 games don’t go to plan we have a pretty easy run until December to make up ground. Our run in isn’t that hard either so we should end the season strongly.

Well good we know now , gives us plenty of time to prepare for it .

Weird fixture list. Gives us a shambolic start to the season and Sp**s/United back to back twice but it looks pretty kind otherwise.

Two pairs of back to back games vs. United/Sp*rs.

The Christmas schedule seems ok but they're still insisting with the 28-29 Dec match and we play Liverpool then.
December seems the most difficult period due to more matches as well as the quality of opponents

What's the schedule after our EL ties ?
I hope we're not again 1H and 5A as it always used to be

a couple of easy games to start with would have been kinder on our new signings, but at the same time a good early result will be encouraging

only time will tell - one thing is certain though - our opening game will be televised:D

Good thing is we going to do all our transfer business very early so we won't be in trouble

Emery has had a dreadful fixtures list thrust on him tbh.

We have a good atmosphere around the club, and it could all go bad by game three, especially as West Ham, **** though they are, is a derby too, and could go horribly wrong. They also seem to raise their level against us.

Man City have 17 players in the world cup. Chelsea have 11. We have 9 and that includes the likes of Elneny, Campbell and Ospina. There's really not much better time to face those teams. Also, if we get good results from those games we could get a pretty good run together to start the season with.

True, but if it goes bad, it can go horribly bad from the start.
