I really can’t see why there is foreboding about this game. The **** state United is in and the perfectly ( almost!) oiled machine Emery has built- I can’t wait to hammer these F***s. COYG , onward and upward..

Didn't mean he shouldn't get the sack. Just that he's lower down the pecking order in who they should prioritise sacking. They've had Moyes, LVG and Mourinho now and they continue to play in exactly the same way. There is something fundamentally wrong and it goes beyond the manager.

He probably is to be fair.

I think the way they play is still down to the manager though. All those managers have been primarily defensive in their careers. To me it just seems like slowly they’re going up the chain. They improved on Moyes with LVG, then on LVG with Mourinho. But ultimately, SAF, while pragmatic , wasn’t afraid to attack from the KO whereas those other three were.

Imagine if they got Sarri or Emery...

But then Woodward is at fault for these appointments, and must be at fault for transfers and the absurd wages and transfer for certain players. And it is all of these things that had lead to the negativity around the team.

Would love us to absolutely batter them tomorrow but with our record at Old Trafford I just can't be as confident as some of you are. I would snap your hand off for a scrappy 1 goal victory if you offered it to me now.

I can't stand the thought of losing to that smug pr*ck again.

The idea of starting with Auba on the bench is interesting. They won't be expecting that.

Our first halfs are crap so if we're level at half-time and then unleash Auba on tiring legs it could be havoc time.

Maybe should start with Torreira, Guendouzi and Elneny to make sure we control midfield and let Kola, Bellerin and Ramsey carve out chances for Laca.

They're there for the taking, best chance to win at OT for as long as I can remember. Instant legend status for Emery if he leads us to victory which instigates Jose's firing the next day.

It is criminal how that United squad has regressed in the last 10 years especially when you look at the money they have chucked at it.

In 2008 when they were comfortably the 2nd best team in Europe behind Barca they had,

VDS in goal, probably the only area they are better now than then but that is close.
Evra and Neville, 2 of the best fullbacks in the World.
Vidic and Ferdinand, the best central defensive pair in the World
Prime Rooney, Tevez, Ronaldo front 3
The midfield wasn't as good as Barca and that's why they were 2nd best but even then they had Giggs, Scholes and prime Carrick

The recruitment since has been shocking, they have downgraded pretty much every single one of the first XI

I hope we show no fear and really go at them and bully them like we did with Sp**s as they are so average these days it's untrue.

Man United 2 Arsenal 0 imo.

Pretty much in line with what I'm expecting. The team put their body & soul on the line Sunday with that fantastic result that I expect they will be drained & Moruinho, being the craven opportunist that he is, will take full advantage of this by parking the bus/ play on the counter football he's famed for.

In addition to banking on the fact that Arsenal HATE!! Old Trafford & can't buy a win there if our lives depended on it.

The fact that our last competitive win there came in the 2015 FA Cup ( thanks to the efforts of Welbz) is nothing short of shameful.

I want us to be the last club he faces in his spell as Manchester United Manager. How sweet it would be if we send him packing like the now "Specialist in Failure" he has become.

Still p*ssed about last season’s game at the Emirates. We outplayed them by a country mile, yet they won thanks to a couple of stupid errors by our defence. Mustafi hung on to the ball for far too long and allow Lingard to take the ball off him just outside our box.

We’ve still got those mistakes in us. Even yesterday Bellerin passed the ball straight to Son on the edge of the box, unlike Lingard he fluffed his lines. And the Sokratis foul was needless, leading to the Dier goal. Holding’s slide on Son in the box was rash.

There’s no doubts about our midfield or forwards, they are firing on all cylinders, and Emery is performing his job beyond anybody’s wildest dreams.

But hand on heart, still can’t be certain we’ll win or draw away at Mourinho’s lair.

Lair, Den or Bastion are nouns given to powerful things that conjure fear & respect akin to Lions, Dragons & the like.

I think of Mourinho and his craven tactics, the word that inevitably comes to mind is "Warren" the refuge of a cowardly rat like himself
