Rob Holding: The Return

Maybe

You're wrong, no?
I dont think his career with us in jeopardy, he's still very young with a long term contract and he has shown his quality to Emery this season.
You can never tell in football. It now looks like Mavropanos will be given games after Christmas, so this injury will secure opportunities for him and it's something that wouldn't happen if Holding stayed fit. You could tell the same thing about Holding, if Koscienly was fit he wouldn't have got the chance this season.

Mavropanos looked better than Holding at the fag-end of last season. Confident he'll come in and make an impact.

To play three at the back regularly you need 4, preferably 5, centre-backs.

Maybe he woulda, since Kos has not been at his best before the injury and he's getting old for a CB of his style(pace-recovery-offensive)

What's up with Mavropanos? He supposedly was out for couple of weeks with groin injury but is out for months..

Continuing bad business practises sigh..

Depends of how much his wage increases. He was great pre-injury and if he hits anything near that form when he returns back he will be a great asset.

Even if he doesn't succeed with us he is young and HG so we can milk out a fine fee for him from the likes of Borenmouth or Leicester who will soon need Ake and Maguire replacements etc.

We shouldnt extend a contract if we dont know if he will again show consistently the form he was in for a short while.

I liked what I saw but it was too short to draw any conclusions from
