Now the United game is over we’ve played all 5 of the top teams once each and got 5 points. This is the same number of points as last year in the corresponding fixtures.

However two of these games were early on before Emery had a chance to get his feet under the table. Will be interested to see what the next 5 yield.

Still think averaging a point a game when at least four of those teams have spent a lot more on their squad is good.
Honestly think we'd beat Chelsea now, we should have at the time, to be fair, but now I wouldn't be that worried about playing them. As for City, if we approach it with the same intensity, passion and grit as the Sp**s game - we could beat them.

His problems can probably be somewhat of the same as with Alexis in the past

He will say he is okey to play regardless of his status

Commendable in one way but stupid in another
That maybe but the difference is if Emery forcibly drops him for his own good, Torreira is less likely to throw a tantrum like Alexis. He's a much more humble guy.

Anything’s possible in a one off game.

But away, against that City team, the Greek Gods of Sokratis and Mavropanos will have to move the pieces in our favour.

One last push for 3 points for the first team after a tough week then a much deserved week off.

I know it's a cliche and we're playing against a relegation side but this is a must win as we need to capitalise on this easy fixture as everyone around us has a tricky game to play and one of Chelsea/City will drop points.
