How do Monchi and Sven the legend comapre with signings?

Would like to see a comparison. Sven got Lewa, Kagawa, Mhki, Gundogan, Auba, Reus, Guendouzi, Hummels etc.?

Looks better than those on Monchi's list.

Maradona played for Sevilla??

Only for one season, but yes. He played for Sevilla after serving his ban. He and Monchi used to take long morning walks together (sounds romantic, right?) and struck up a close and lasting friendship. Monchi still wears the Cartier watch that Maradona gave him before leaving the club.

People still believe the sunmer transfer budget stories even though the same journalists were wrong last year.

And pretty much every year. People pull these figures out of their butts and fans take them as gospel. In truth, Arsenal doesn't even know exactly what the budget will be because it will depend on whether or not the club makes it back into the Champions League. They have an idea, both ways, but nothing would be firm just yet.

Roma were a club that consistently finished in CL places and sometimes even competed for the league before Monchi’s arrival and are now 5th and favourites to miss CL with AC Milan and Inter leaping them. Fans hate his guts.

Just like old pal Emery, Monchi is a failure outside his Europa League loving town. With his appointment we’re cementing Emery’s place here for years, no matter the results, and therefore return to the good old days of Wenger which we so desperately tried to change.

Roma was in a financial mess and far afoul of FFP rules when Monchi was brought in to get the club back on firm financial footing -- which he has now done (they were cleared last summer). The fact that they are in the hunt for a Champions League spot is actually quite impressive considering that they were forced to sell their best players and replace them with young Monchi finds. And Emery won five trophies in two seasons at PSG, hardly a failure.

You're cherry picking without context.
