losing Torreira and Xhaka at the same time, with Ramsey not fully fit, has been potentially disastrous

11 points off the magic total imo.

If we can beat Palace, Brighton and Burnley if we win just one of either Leicester or Wolves we’re there and possibly in third.

Think 75 will do it honestly.

Win the home games and one of the three away games.

76 points is the magic number for me :)

Think Wolves are broken after their FA Cup semi heartbreak, so we might sneak a win there too.

Not sure we can get any points at Leicester under Brenda, but then Burnley should be in beach mode in final day of season.

Probably yes but Utd aside, Chelsea have some easy fixtures.

If they got a result at the toilet they could push 76 or 78.

They might have lost Rudiger for the season, and Cahill might make a comeback.

How are their fixtures easy? ManU away, Leicester away (like Arsenal has) Watford home (with Deeney and possibly others coming back), and Burnley home (which is easier, but Burnley still fights for better spots (isn't there a prize difference?) and has 3 wins in a row now. This is their next match.)

They have same points and one match more, Arsenal has +5 goal difference.

Didn’t say they’d catch us anywhere, just that their games are very winnable so 75 might not be enough.

Yeah. Even that Burnley match might not be easy at this point. They have won Wolves home and Bournemouth away (who have good record there) in last 3 matches. Last of the wins was Cardiff home who is fighting against relegation. All with 2 goal difference.

They’re safe after the Cardiff game now though, also Chelsea are better at the Bridge so you could see them handling Watford and Burnley.

Thinking about it, how annoying is this season btw?

It's very possible, we finish 3rd, win Europa and watch Liverpool bottle the league, while both United finish 6th, Sp**s 5th with stadium debt and no CL money and Chelsea getting 4th with a transfer ban, all in Emery's first season.

Yet, we could still finish 5/6th while losing the Europa League, United and Sp**s getting 3rd/4th and Liverpool winning the league.

Like honestly f*ck me everything is still on a knife edge and has been for ages.:lol:

Looking at remaining fixtures of Sp**s utd and Chelsea Sp**s are the favourites to finish 3rd apart from man city they have very easy fixutres with 3 home games. Man utd got the hard fixtures next 3 games against Chelsea mancity and Everton are very difficult with the form they in. We have to get maximum points from Crystal Palace wolves and Leicester 7 points would be great 6 points would be acceptable.

Yeah sure. The point is that I don't see those matches easy like you. Huddersfield and Fulham are easy. Burnley might be but not with 3 two goal wins in a row against good opposition, besides Cardiff of course.

Bournemouth away for Sp**s is not easy without Kane? But yeah they still are the favourites for top4.

I was thinking similar the other day, there are incredibly fine margins between euphoria and despair and this season particularly so.

Yep, can't remember last time every game counted as a cup final so late in the season.
