Sorry but you can take whatever you want. Comparing all 15 seasons to one season is nonsense. An average would only make sense if they managed for a similar period of time, preferably concurrently. Everything I highlighted can be accounted for and taken into consideration. Comparing season to season would make much more sense since they both worked with incredibly similar squads for a significant period. I suspect season to season Wenger completely owns Emery.
Emery’s first season is better than Wenger’s worst and last season for sure. That’s what those who wanted rid of Wenger are keen to point out.

Wenger had 22 seasons with us and they were very different for a variety of reasons. It would take a long time to compile all the data from those and compare each one to Emery’s. And what would you gain.

Depends what you're looking at in basic terms Emery got further in the league and the EL. But Wenger faced a better much tougher Atletico team earlier which cost him in the EL. Wenger would probably have won the EL I style had he faced this Chelsea team. We were also out of the race for UCL by the time Wenger had successfully restructured the squad which probably skews the results as well.

Im pretty sure though that certain advanced stats like expected goals were highly in Wenger's favour.

We were out of the race for top 4 by the time we sold Sanchez and brought in Aubameyang, etc. We did a lot of good work that window, got rid of a lot of players who weren't a good fit and replaced them with players who were.

The main reason i'm sucking up to Pochettino is the way he has transformed a mediocre squad to a highly competitive one.

But it wasn't medicore was it. Many seem to forget that the squad he took over at Sp**s, actually had a really good spine already intact. And that is the toughest part to build. Lloris, Vertongen, Dembele, Rose, Walker and Erikson where already established, Kane had just broken through into the first team the season before Pochettino arrived, and Dier and Ali arrived in the same season as him And the season after Aldewereld and Son where added to the squad. He quickly had a really really good team on his hands there.

Not saying he isn't good by the way, he is a fantastic coach, clearly. But the underdog tag is sometimes overstated. Not many coaches get to take over a team already with such a solid spine ready to work with and build around.

Surprisingly tacky choice with the belt. Never do that with a belt. Over state the belt and you may as well have a chain of used condoms around your midriff. Nice shirt, but bad choice of colour on the feet. Should have gone for a light shade of brown to break it up.

The man is about statements, though. He’s doing it his way. That’s a confident man there. No underdog detected.
