Imagine Özil helping Kolasinac out.

No imagine Özil going to help Kolasinac out but Kolasinac isn't there because he has no stamina and he only plays attack.

No imagine Kolasinac on the ground throwing up, Özil drifting inside and we have to sub Elneny on for Torreira to close the left side.

Lovely stuff!

At least better than playing Iwobi there.

Its no coincidence that the club gets a new owner around the same time as a long serving manager leaves, there has always been a bigger picture in place imo and Wenger was just the beginning of it, obviously the philosophies of the manager and the directors started to collide and that's causing a nervy transition for the club as it enters the unknown from a public perspective.

Wenger has been one of the plus points for Arsenal over the years and if he was able to balance his vision for the club, with the direction of the planet, then maybe he would still be manager and Arsenal would be better off at present, but that's not his fault imo, just the pressures between.

Everything is always tied to roots no matter how much money is thrown and by whom, the roots have more pulling power.

I'm predicting this will be the most disappointing transfer window we've known. And we've had some stinkers. Mostly because we will fail to ship out the dross.
Can't be worse than 2015-2016 when we bought just Cech. Most people mostly conform we want 4-5 players the club will let emery the fans down if they didn't do that Specially for club who want to be back to CL.

How many EPL clubs have made a starting 11 purchase yet?

It's slow mostly everywhere other than Madrid

Thinking about this, why are we finding it hard to ship out dross? Liverpool manages to sell their dross, for good money too.
One problem is that we are too late in identifying that someone is dross.
The other problem is we are playing the dross repeatedly for the whole world to see that they are dross thereby putting us on backfoot. Liverpool sold Solanke after him much at all. They can always say that "he did not fit their plans". Solanke would then by an unknown quantity that some team is willing to risk buying. On the other hand, we just play these guys every match for everyone to see what they really are. We can't come up with any excuses after that for selling, other than the fact that they are downright crappy players.

Easy to feel that way. However, we need to give them until they end of the window. They have openly said there was a Europa League budget and a champions league budget. They have communicated that we have already drawn up a list of targets and done the groundwork for transfers. They have stated that we will be focusing on creating a pathway for youth and backed it up with communicating the specific role of Freddie.

They have also said that negotiations will need to be kept private and confidential for obvious reasons. As frustrated as I am. They have until the end of the window to do what they need to do.

They know who they need to shift, they know they need to generate funds, they know we need to address key areas.
