To be fair both Adebayor and RVP refused to train to push a transfer through to us.

Lemina isn't really a transfer that one can get excited about but it might be the type of signing that we could do more of. Squad players who can fit our system better and are PL proven.

Also the fact that he's PL probably makes it an easier resell if we decide we want to shift him in the future

What's your take on Ndidi? Been watching him for Nigeria and he's tearing it up for me. Clearly a level above alot of midfielders at Afcon for me.

Elneny has looked brilliant in Afcon matches, says it all about the standard.

Inconsistent player, question marks about his application, can he make the step up to a bigger club (ignoring Juve), has he got the capacity to grow to reach another level.

So many valid questions and uncertainties about his qualities on and off the pitch. Normally this kind of signing would never be tempting to us. A player who hasn't exactly been on fire playing for a relegation threatened team. But the current state of our midfield which has zero dynamism he might be worth a gamble around £20M, anything more and it is a non starter.

Slight chance playing in a different team, tactics and motivation could unlock his potential. And as someone mentioned there are a lot of similarities with Wijnaldum. Besides it isn't like we are linked to any established/proven quality midfielders anyway, most are just potential with almost same high risk of failure.

Btw, that is what you call a proper highlights video. He looks like a prime Maradona in that clip. No wonder Malcom got ridiculed for his highlights clip.

That's, like, your opinion, man.

From the verbally agreed 160k from Arsenal prior to Emery withdrawing the contract not deeming him worth due his poor form. To get what, 300k at Juventus?

It wasn't because of the rhinos you *****. It's because he's a good player.
